Derbyshire County Council has a legal duty to assess the provision of childcare to determine if there is sufficient childcare available, as far as reasonably practicable, to allow parents/carers to access work, education or training.
The Childcare Improvement Service is now conducting a survey to highlight any gaps in provision and ensure that parents/carers can access high quality affordable childcare.
