See you there!!

Plus this year we will be having a special Christmas BBQ and Carols Around the Christmas tree. Bring the whole family to join in with the festivities. Tel: 07941 496 198

Many thanks to everyone for supporting our pink week. We had much success with our cake stall, raffle and donations and along with a donation from Sandiacre Parent & Toddler group managed to raise £120.46 - well done to all and many thanks for helping support a charity close to our hearts.
Continuing with the 'Pink' theme we will be having a cake stall at pre-school on Tuesday 21st October at 11.45am.
All donations of cakes and biscuits will be gratefully received - the pinker the better!! So please pop down on Tuesday and buy a cake or three!
All proceeds will go towards the 'Breast Cancer Campaign - Wear it Pink'.
During the last week of term (20th - 24th Oct) we shall be going pink in support of Breast Cancer Campaign's 'Wear it Pink' event.
It'll be all things pink all week from what we wear to what we eat! So join in the fun with something pink and donate to a charity that is close to our hearts.
Tuesday 11th November the photographer will be here at pre-school. These photos make ideal Christmas presents as well as helping to raise funds for pre-school.
Friday 19th December will be the date for our Christmas Party to be held once again at Little Drivers in Stapleford. There will be fun & games, food, a disco, party bags and of course Santa! More details to follow.
Welcome back to a new school year here at Springfield Pre-School.
Most of our sessions are now full, but should you require any extra sessions or change of session please just ask.
Would you like the choice of a Friday afternoon session? Parents are asked to let us know if the addition of a Friday afternoon would be beneficial. Decision to be made shortly, watch this space!
All the staff and committee would like to wish everyone a safe and happy Summer holiday. Fingers crossed the good weather is here to stay!
Many thanks to those parents who sent in thank you cards and presents - all are very much appreciated.
We look forward to seeing everyone, refreshed and raring to go, on Monday 8th September.
Unfortunately the British Summer weather meant that our planned Sports Day on Friday 18th had to forgo the Sports!! But we still went ahead with our Leavers Concert so there was plenty of singing and a chance to say goodbye to those children leaving us for nursery and big school with the presentation of some books.
There were presentations made to both committee and staff as appreciation for all their hard work over the last year, as well as an early 21st birthday celebration for one member of staff!!
Our Summer Fayre last Saturday took on a decidedly Hawaiian theme, with 'Hoopla the Pineapple', 'Coconut Shy' and 'Pin the Flower on the Hula Girl' along with old favourites like Face Painting, 'Stocks' and the Bouncy Castle.
A great time was had by all and profits for the day hope to be just under £700!!!
Many thanks to all who took part on Saturday, those who organised the event (you know who you are!), those who helped man stalls and most importantly all of you who came along and joined in the fun and spent lots of money!
All proceeds raised help to provide much needed supplies and equipment - thank you.
The Bouncy Castle proved to be lots of fun.
Look at our faces.....
Thanks to Derbyshire County Council's generosity we're happy to report that we have now moved into Web 2.0 here at Springfield Pre-School. We have recently purchased a whole new suite of IT equipment for our staff and children to use and this is also enabling us to have a proper presence on the Internet.
This is the first post of many, so keep dropping by to check on what's happening.
