Each child will be making an Ang Po envelope to take home too.
Tuesday day is Pancake day! We will be flipping pancakes, pancake racing and of course having pancakes for snack too. Yum!πŸ₯ž
Wednesday is Valentines day so we will be doing some Valentines themed craft and decorating biscuits. πŸ’•

What's Happening at Pre-School w/c 2.02.24

 Hi Everyone,

This week will be all about Literacy, Communication and Language, which will be our topic and focus.

The children have enjoyed our Bear Hunt topic so much over the last two weeks.

So, we will continue to have the Bear Hunt Obstacle course set out in our Physical area. The children have been experimenting moving in different ways, while using the props they have made to act out the story and follow the maps to navigate the course.

We will be sharing some of our other favourite stories too this week. On creative we will be painting, sticking and using a variety of different tools to make lots of our favourite characters.

Our home corner will be turned into a Literacy Den, where we will have stories to share, our favourite story sacks, rhyming cards, letter/pattern cards with drawing boards, alphabet jigsaws and much, much more.

We will be doing lots of singing to promote speech development while playing in the water. Using the nets to fish out some of our favourite characters from our nursery rhymes. We will be hunting for letters in our messy play tray with construction trucks and cereal. We will be moving to some of our favourite action songs and rhymes at movement time, and we will be putting our listening skills to the test using our sound tapes.

We will continue to promote our fine motor skills throughout many of our activities this week which will help to promote early writing skills for all of our children.

Another fun filled week ahead πŸ˜€πŸ“š
