What's Happening at Pre-School- Summer Term 2

 Hi Everyone,

Our topics and focus activities over the next few weeks are as follows:

w/c 2^nd June-     Topic: Around the world

                             Focus: Communication and language/literacy

w/c 9^th June -     Topic: Around the world

                              Focus: Communication and language/literacy

w/c 16^th June - Topic: Under the sea

                             Focus: Fine motor skill (pencil control & Scissor control)

                            Focus: Maths- numbers/shapes

                            

w/c 30th June - Topic: Summer Holidays 

                             Focus: Expressive arts and design/ Personal, Social and Emotional development

W/c 7^th July- Topic: Summer Holidays

                         Focus: Expressive arts and design/ Personal, Social and Emotional development

                         INSET DAYS- Thursday/Friday (pre-school will be closed). 

                         Monday- Raffle tickets go on sale

W/c 14^th July- Sport Fun Week 

W/c 21st July- Children's choice  

                         Wednesday- School leavers concert (children moving up to reception year)

                         Thursday- End of Year party (for all children)

                                           

A reminder that your child will receive a weekly general observation on Tapestry and a focus observation normally every two weeks sometimes more. 

Please remember to log into Tapestry, this gives you the opportunity to share all the lovely activities and photos, with your children at home. Including what their next steps are.

Springfield Pre-School’s Easter Play Days!!

Sandiacre Scout Hut, Stanton Road, Sandiacre

Next to Sandiacre Town Football Club

On the Sandiacre I4 bus route!

Everyone is welcome, no booking required.

(This is on a first come first served basis, until we reach room capacity).

(Activities suitable from 0-5yrs but older children also welcome)

Wednesday 9th April

(Playday plus mini Easter Fair including lots of Easter fun! Messy play activities and Easter stalls, including a Cake sale,Sweet tombola and Raffle!)

Wednesday 16th April

(Play Day only)

10.00am - 11.30am

£2 per child.

Cash or Card accepted

Free tea,coffee, juice and biscuits.
