No Sports but lots of Singing!

Unfortunately the British Summer weather meant that our planned Sports Day on Friday 18th had to forgo the Sports!!  But we still went ahead with our Leavers Concert so there was plenty of singing and a chance to say goodbye to those children leaving us for nursery and big school with the presentation of some books.

There were presentations made to both committee and staff as appreciation for all their hard work over the last year, as well as an early 21st birthday celebration for one member of staff!!

Available Sessions in September

Due to an extremely high uptake of sessions for September we currently only have available spaces on our Monday afternoon session!

Pennies have been counted

Well the counting has been done and our Summer Fayre raised an amazing £760 - A Big Thank You to everyone who got involved and made this day a success.  We now hope to buy some new play activities.

Summer Fayre 14th June 2008

Our Summer Fayre last Saturday took on a decidedly Hawaiian theme, with 'Hoopla the Pineapple', 'Coconut Shy' and 'Pin the Flower on the Hula Girl' along with old favourites like Face Painting, 'Stocks' and the Bouncy Castle.

A great time was had by all and profits for the day hope to be just under £700!!!

Many thanks to all who took part on Saturday, those who organised the event (you know who you are!), those who helped man stalls and most importantly all of you who came along and joined in the fun and spent lots of money!

All proceeds raised help to provide much needed supplies and equipment - thank you.

What lovely weather, the rain stayed away and everyone had a great day.

New Term Starts

We open our doors again after our 'Easter' break on Monday 21st April.

We shall start the Summer Term by looking at the topic of Myths & Legends, in particular St George & the Dragon, Pirates, Merfolk & Peter Pan, which should make for an interesting few weeks!
