Hi Everyone,
Our new topic over the next three weeks will be based on the Story 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt'. We will be reading the story, acting it out and creating our own props. The children will get the chance to hear the story in different ways, reading, using the CD story and watching it on TV too!
This week on creative we will be making large pictures of grass, water, mud, a snowstorm and forest. We will be putting these up around the room so that the children can go on their very own Bear Hunt during their imaginative play. Will we find the cave with the Bear hiding inside?
Our focus over the next two weeks will be maths. This week will be all about numbers and counting. We will have lots of activities out for the children to access, that will promote their mathematical skills.
Please remember to log onto Tapestry, this gives you the opportunity to share all the lovely photos and activities that your child has done at Pre-school, with them at home. Including what their next steps are. 😀
